A MESSAGE OF THANKS FROM CHRIS GRAYLING MP TO ALL POLICE OFFICERS

We are pleased to report that Chris Grayling MP, the Shadow Home Secretary, is a regular visitor to these pages. We have also received communication from the office of David Cameron, to the effect that he has viewed the site and recent reports.

Chris has asked that we pass on his best New Year wishes and thanks to all police officers.

We are keen that his thanks are seen by as many officers as possible. His letter, received by us today is reprinted below. Please feel free to download a copy of the letter for distribution. Click here for a copy in pdf format, or the image below to see the letter magnified.

We are happy to pass on his letter, and would like to wish David, Chris and the team every success with the task that lies ahead.

Let's hope he is serious about listening to concerns and not just going to impose another grand plan. Politicians of all colours need to understand that they don't always have the answers just because they have been elevated to the highest offices.

Thanks for the heads-up, Steve, but I can't download the file right now - server must be busy! I'll keep trying. :)

SC - I agree. We can but hope eh?
KK - I've sent the file as an attachment to those bloggers whose e mails I have (most). If you have difficulty and want to e mail me, the address of the foot of the page will get you there and I'll e mail it to you.

Thanks gents.

CHEERS STEVE

Perhaps they need to bounce some of their policy ideas off us first re reducing paperwork.

I'm getting a time and motion obsession at present so would be up for it.

Mispers - complaints - non crime domestics etc
