Libya deal saved WPC's killer from UK trial

Times Online
THE murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher outside the Libyan embassy in London was one of the most shocking police killings of the past 25 years.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels more than a little sick, angry and disgusted having read the article, seen these photographs splashed across the world, then read the Times article about "Mr" Mandelson, his wealthy friends and the Libyan connection read it here

Lest we forget.

God Bless You Yvonne

There are those of us who remember and respect your memory.

Rest In Peace

Politicians urge Gaddafi to offer visas to Yvonne Fletcher police.

MPs and peers hope to persuade the Libyan leader to allow British police to pursue WPC Yvonne Fletcher’s killer.

A group of MPs and peers will fly to Libya this month to try to persuade Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to provide visas to the Metropolitan Police to track down the killer of Yvonne Fletcher.

Daniel Kawczynski, a Conservative MP, is part of the Parliamentary delegation travelling to Libya for the six-day trip from September 26.

While a meeting with either Colonel Gaddafi or his son Saif al Islam has still to be confirmed, the MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham said that he would urge Tripoli to allow British police to try to find the gunman who shot WPC Fletcher, who was killed outside the Libyan Embassy in London in 1984.
